I had such a great getaway! The food was outstanding, especially the French onion soup, and the pool area was clean and spacious. I will come back for sure!

Simsbury Inn's succotash stole the show—definitely worth the upcharge! Plus, the jacuzzi was actually hot, a rarity! The festive atmosphere and cozy common areas made for a delightful escape.
We stayed one night, and while the facilities could use a lick of paint, everything still sparkled with character.

Had a great time with friends! The hotel was a nice escape from the usual chain spots. We loved the spacious, clean rooms and enjoyed relaxing at the bar. We visited Bounce Town for some fun with the kids and took a nature walk along the Farmington River. The shuttle service was helpful, though shops were a bit far.
We were surprised to find only 1 bed in the 2 room suite, which made it a bit cramped for us but didn't ruin our stay.

Some facilities could use minor updates.

Charming vintage decor, comfortable beds, and great shuttle service. Noisy housekeeping woke me up too early on both mornings. Loved the indoor pool and free coffee.

missingWrote a review on Jul 27outdated facilitieslimited accessibility
The facilities show their age, with minor updates needed in several areas, particularly in the shower and bath where features felt outdated. Additionally, room accessibility may not be ideal for everyone, posing challenges for larger luggage or those with mobility issues. Some may prefer more extensive late-night snack options, as the current availability felt limited during my stay.

The Deluxe King Room was spacious and generally comfortable. The decor had a charming colonial feel, which I liked. But the bed was a bit too soft for my taste, leaving me restless. The bathroom was clean, and everything worked fine. Overall, a decent setup for a short stay, though it could use some minor updates.

Charming ambiance with room for improvement
I thoroughly enjoyed the charming colonial decor and the festive seasonal decorations that created a warm atmosphere, making it an inviting spot for relaxation. The attention to detail in the hotel’s historical design was impressive, providing a unique experience. On the downside, some facilities could use updates for better accessibility, making it less suitable for seniors and those with mobility challenges.

Couple's surprisingly enjoyable stay
I gotta hand it to the place, it had this genuine charm, especially with the rocking chairs on the porch where we caught an epic sunset. The staff were fantastic, even got emergency safety pins from the front desk, and let me tell ya, that was a lifesaver during the wedding chaos.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but I guess for a wedding getaway, it was tolerable.

charming stay but room disturbance issues
The location is fantastic, making it easy to visit my scheduled appointments. The beds are incredibly comfortable, allowing me to rest well during my stay.
Unfortunately, noise from housekeeping disrupted my experience.
